Strathmore Dress Code Fashion

The dress code is intended to create a professional and respectful environment on campus. By dressing appropriately, you are showing respect for yourself, your fellow students, and the university community.

For Ladies

  • Skirt hemlines and slits should be below the knee.
  •  Shirts and blouses should be long enough to cover the mid-riff and must have sleeves.
  • Low, plunging necklines are inappropriate. Sleeveless tops and dresses may be worn with a sleeved blouse, jacket or sweater underneath or over top.
  • A tailored fit is always appropriate. Clothing that is too tight, too short, or too revealing is not appropriate.
  • Students should avoid wearing tracksuits and shorts . Wear elegant footwear of choice except for rubber shoes and slippers.

For Gentlemen

  • Shirts should be long enough to cover the torso and should have sleeves.
  • Fabric for both shirts and trousers should be loose, not transparent and not clinging to the body.
  • Footwear of choice may be worn except for slippers and slipper-like sandals.
  • Students should avoid wearing tracksuits, shorts and T-shirts.
